Advanced Graphics Package
#1
Has anyone used it ??

We are inquiring about an on going job but apparently Advanced are not doing any training on the package until 2018 ..... really useful!

Is it that difficult to put together ??

Did a bit site before. Same package as Morley. But outdated in my opinion
Bit of a pain converting drawings and linking them. Had a lot of issues on a massive site.

Give Drax a call and they may be able to organise training

Dave, I will try and give you a call tomorrow, Ive done three one of which had 36 panels on a network.

It is drax software, exactly the same as Morley and a few others use. It’s  not difficult when you know how but very time consuming ......as a ball part figure it takes a week to program 2 4 loop panels. Also the longer you spend on it the better it can look

Give the Guys in the office a call. They provide a training academy & can tailor training to suit your requirments.

Mr C how many T-breaks where had during that week?!!!
It is like anything though the more often you use it the easier/quicker it becomes.

ESP, it may beneficial to sub-contract the works to Drax or a Drax Partner

Top stuff ... I don't mind subbing it out but to be honest I like our guys to know how it works so they can fix it and change it rather than rely on third parties .......

There was a few tbh! If  i remember right it took me about two months to programme everything, connect up the network and do the zone charts. Luckily a number of buildings were identical so i could copy paste a lot of it. It then took another two and a a half weeks to test everything!

Be careful with drax partners, most are probably ok but I know of one who really haven’t got much of a clue!

And yes it is one of those things the more you do the more you learn

If it's our job Dave, I'll show you how to set up, same as Morley and Drax. Will chat tomorrow and email price/kit list over tomorrow for both sites with prices.
