Could anyone on here recommend a good a AutoCAD course?

I got a bespoke one - covering just what I needed to do as there is loads you will never use but then I asked a Local Architect if I could sit in with him for a few hours and learned more that way.

Do you know anyone who can teach you the basics? If so get them to show you them then start using  it. You will learn as much by actually doing it and also good old google.

I think the "Dummy" books are also quite good?

Youtube has some good basic starter videos. I use Visio at the moment as my Autocad stopped working on Windows 10.

I was running 2009 for years then W10 killed it

I got AutoCAD 2011 running on Windows 10 no problem. I got tips from the local NHS Capital Projects guy he taught me a lot then advices going to college. I went for two years to night school and got my City & Guilds in 2d and 3D CAD. First year at college I got for free but had to pay for the second year
