'Is it possible to have a buzzer/indicator in a location not near the panel that activates when the panel goes into fault? Or do I need a repeater?

You could program an out put to operate the buzzer/indicator needs to be labelled as well

Someone did one, I think it was C-tec with a nice big red LED, switchable between audible/visual or both. we used them in theatres.
