Protec Interface
#1
Hi all
I have a client that has an analogue protec panel with an interface that was signalling another site, they no longer require this signalling so i need to disconnect the input and output from the interface, the problem is i cant find out what the EOL value needs to be for the input. I have googled it but cant see anything.
Any help would be great.

If you want someone to get downloads of the system let me know, I can work on the protec panels

Hi
Yes your right, i went back early this morning and saw that resistor hanging out of the relay connections only connected on one side, im guessing so it wasnt lost.
I put my meter across and it is 47K. Thanks for your help.

Hi
I my do as i'm recommending to the client to replace the system with an open protocol system so a download to identify all devices would be helpful, what area are you in? The system is in South Essex.

Will bear that in mind if they want to go ahead with a change out.

Just change the panel to a 6500
It will run both 6000 & 6000 plus devices & is open
Also fits into the existing enclosure

No need change all the devices
