RE: Thorn call points
Its a conventional KAC outdoor call point with 470 ohm firing resistor. It doesnt have to be thorn so most conventional weatherproof mcps will work as long as resistance is correct.
A new KAC outdoor mcp is all you need though if its old the design will differ from original but still top and bottom entry.

I understand that, but this is an MOD fire alarm and they want it to be like for like.

RE: Thorn call points
They will be stuffed then! Tell them they don't make them any more (which is true), in fact they never did as it was KAC stuff with custom printed glass elements.

Nearest they will get is the new KAC.

Otherwise it's scrounging stuff from old systems.

RE: Thorn call points
You wont get the old style KAC call points with all the allen key screws in as they are now the new style drop front ones !!

I have done MOD work for about 15 years and have never been asked to use like for like kit !!
