I am in conversations with members of my trade institute and we are debating the future of PAVA and how it will be implemented within buildings and the associated contracts.
Any feedback from you guys would be more than welcome.
Are you being asked to quote for it more?
Are you picking up maintenance contracts?
Are PAVA manufacturers approaching you directly?
We do quite a bit on it, and feel the market will continue to grow.
Baldwin along with a few others do training, but you have to approach them and they are quite helpful.

any comments or views posted are mine and I'm keeping them.
Thanks for the replies guys - keep them coming!
I believe that the replies that I get here will support my opinion and so far this is being confirmed.
ESP - I will PM you as I would like to keep this thread focused for the benefit of research.
done loads of PA/VA done the baldwin boxhall commisioning course a few years ago, but like others normally just install and get people in. the mob im with at the minute have ASL systems on every site, with intelivox (sp) speakers which in my opinion are awful but are touted as teh all singing all dancing speaker.
in all honesty most of my dealings with the racks are clearing down faults, if they dont clear then re sub it out to another mob haha! they do seem prone to intermittent faults more than fire alarms though judging by the amount of fault calls that are cleared just by a fault clear command on the graphics
